UIL Concert and Sight-reading Contest is Wednesday, March 2nd for the Concert Band and Thursday, March 3rd for the Honor Band. Both performances will be at Independence High School. We will be busing to Independence. Wear your concert uniform to school, bringing a change of school clothes with you. You will also need $13 for Strikz after our performance. To speed up the process at Strikz, bring your $13 as a $10 bill and 3 ones. If you need to make change, you will have to wait. Please see below for the itenerary for each band. Parents are encouraged to attend, we would love to see you there!
Concert Band

Wear your concert uniform to school. (Bring a change of clothes).
- 7:20 am – Report to the band hall.
- 7:50 am – Load the buses and depart for Independence High School.
- 8:20 pm – Arrive and unload
- 9:15 am – Warm-up
- 9:40 am – Concert Performance
- 10:05 am – Sight Reading Performance
- 10:20 am – Our UIL performance is finished – load the buses.
- 11:00 pm – arrive at Strikz ($13)
- 1:00 pm – Leave Strikz
- 1:15 pm – arrive at Clark – you may change clothes when we are back in school.
