All Region Try-outs: Phase 1 — Thursday, November 13^th

3:40pm – Meet in the band hall

Roll Call: Wear comfortable clothes — No Clark apparel

– Band Parents will be taking roll.  Be polite and follow directions.

– DO NOT PLAY INSTRUMENTS AFTER SCHOOL

4:15pm – The Bus is leaving for Blalack MS in Carrollton

• Depending on the wait time, your child will finish their audition within 15 minutes to an hour of their “window of time.”
• You are welcome to pick up your child after they complete their portion of the audition, rather than wait until the end.
• Please e-mail us in advance to let us know that you intend to pick your child up at Blalack MS.

9:30pm – The Bus is returning for Clark MS

Results will be e-mailed on Saturday evening as well as posted on the website. 

For the Students:

Once we arrive:

1. Follow the chaperones to the gym to find the Clark warm-up and case area.
2. Leave your instrument, take your music and a pencil, and find your room. (follow the posted signs).
3. Check-in with the audition room monitor (student or parent) to confirm your audition time and your audition “letter”
4. Write down: AUDITION LETTER___  TIME______   ROOM NUMBER____
5. Write down the required scales and excerpt NOW (if posted). Do not enter the audition room without knowing EXACTLY what you are to play.  You may now proceed to the warm up area
6. The WARM-UP Area is the GYM.  Playing is NOT allowed in the halls or outside of the school. No group playing.  Do not get us in trouble in the Warm-up area!!
7. There will be a corner of the gym or where we will “camp-out’ and leave horn cases.
