Beginner Clarinet, Flute, and Saxophone — Week 8

  • Practice Cards are due on Monday, October 19th.
  • Students are expected to practice their full amount.  (2.5 hours per week for a 90%)
  • Students are expected to practice on both their full instrument for only 20 – 30 minutes at a time.  Lessons count as practice time.
  • Students are expected to master the following lines in their Essential Elements Book: 1 – 34.  They should have marked what days each line is due.  Students should make a good sound as they play these lines using a metronome at quarter note = 84.
  • The Fundraiser continues!  Please help out the band!!  The next turn in is on Monday!
  • We have a Pep-Rally this Thursday!  Students are expected to wear their band t-shirt.
