Beginning Clarinet, Flute and Saxophone

  • Practice Card is due on Monday, May 18th
  • All students should be practicing the following lines of music in their Essential Elements book and assigned music:
  • All classes — Complete chromatic scale;
  • All classes Level Two Scales: F, Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, C, G, D; there are major test grades for every one of these scales.
  • Auditions/ Final Exams are beginning the week of Monday, May 18th.  All students will receive 3 major grades based on their performance of this project/exam/audition.  Results will be available on Thursday, June 4th.  Click here for details.
  • Beginner Jazz Band will meet on Thursday morning, May 21st from 7:40am to 8:20am.
  • Beginner Jazz Band concert will be on Tuesday, May 26th at 6:00pm at the Frisco Commons.  Bring a picnic blanket, eat some dinner and listen to Clark, Wester, and Centennial High School!!
  • Hurricane Harbor is on Monday, June 8th.  Checks must be made out to the “Clark Band”  for $35.00.  We have added an on-line payment option. Click here for the webpage.  We have extended the deadline to Monday after school if your child would like to go to Hurricane Harbor!
  • Bass Clarinets, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones must return their instrument to Clark by Monday, June 1st for inventory and maintenance.  They will be reassigned beginning on Tuesday, June 16th.
  • Summer Lessons/ open Band Hall will begin on Tuesday June 16th.  Please consider taking lessons some over the summer when you are in town…
  • Summer Jazz Band will also meet starting on Tuesday June 16th.  It is open to all students.  Details to follow.
