Beginning Clarinet, Flute and Saxophones

  • The History of the Instruments Project is due this Monday.  Please bring your project before school starts.  If your child wrote a report, they may turn it in during class or e-mail it.
  •  The fundraiser continues! The next collection date is this Wednesday.  Thank you for offering to help.  This is a pre-collect program.  See the website for details.  The fundraiser ends on Tuesday, October 14th.
  • Students are expected to know their lines, spaces and note names Use Musicracer.com to practice.  It counts as practice time.
  • Practice Card is due on Monday, September 29th.
  • Students are expected to practice on their full instrument for 15 minutes at a time this weekend.
  • All students should be using their Essential Elements book everyday:
    1. Clarinets 2nd Period  — Lines 1 – 23
    2. Clarinets 7th Period  — Lines 1 – 16
    3. Saxophones — Lines 1 – 25
    4. Flutes — Lines 1 – 18
  • Students are expected to have four reeds with no chips, cracks or lipstick (except for Flutes)
