The cold weather might be here to stay, but your students are starting to sound pretty hot on their instruments! I am excited everyday to hear how your students are getting better every week. One of my mottos is “Am I better than I was yesterday? A week ago? A month ago?” I encourage our students to not compare themselves to others, but to their own progress. As you hear your child getting better (even though it is that same song!) keep encouraging them to work hard and see what they can do to improve. Your encouragement is so important to them! Alright, off the soap box now and onto announcements….
