Our UIL contest has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 25th, at Wakeland High School. We will eat “B” lunch after 4th period. We officially warm-up at 1:30PM, perform on stage at 2:00PM, and sight-read at 2:30PM. Parents are encouraged to attend! This is the event that we have been preparing for all year. We would love to have you in the audience cheering us on. Please stay for sight-reading.
Students, it is very important that we look our absolute best for this event. Please have your uniform clean and ironed before the day of the contest. You must wear your entire uniform with you to school that day including your band polo, black dress pants, black dress socks, black dress shoes and a black dress belt.
Thank you for taking the necessary steps to make this event a success. The students have been working very hard on their music to prepare for this contest. We will be missing part of school so students will be responsible for making up any missed work. Please be aware that we will be returning to the school by 3:30PM. On Wednesday, March 26th you are responsible for turning in any work that you missed.
Please bring your uniform in your uniform bag, hanging on a hanger. We will have time to change.
