Beginner Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone Class

  • The fundraiser is continuing.  Thank you for offering to help.  We will have another collection this Wednesday.  This is a pre-collect program.  See the website for details.  The fundraiser ends on Tuesday, October 14th.
  • Students are expected to know their lines, spaces and note names Use Musicracer.com to practice.  It counts as practice time.
  • Practice Card is due on Monday, October 2nd.
  • Students are expected to practice on their full instrument for 20 – 30 minutes at a time this weekend.
  • All students should be using their Essential Elements:
    1. Clarinets 2nd Period  — Lines 1 – 31; Right Hand work to Low E
    2. Clarinets 7th Period  — Lines 1 – 23;
    3. Saxophones — Lines 1 – 35; p. 46 Low E to A
    4. Flutes — Lines 1 – 23
  • Students are expected to have four reeds with no chips, cracks or lipstick (except for Flutes).
  • The next Pep-Rally has moved to Thursday, October 16th.
  • Our first concert is Thursday, October 23rd.  Students meet at 5:30pm in the band hall.  The concert begins at 6:00pm
