Announcments

• Sectionals have begun. Click here for details. We are focusing on all-region assignments in sectionals. Students are not only learning how to play their all-region material, but also a process for which to practice it.
• It is important that every student attend their assigned sectional day and time. If there is a conflict, please contact me to arrange a make up day and time.
• Jazz Band meets on Wednesday after school and Thursday before school.
• Private Lessons are strongly encouraged.  Sign-up now before all of the available time are filled

Assignments

• All students should work on their all All-Region Music very slowly.  Check your student’s material for each weeks assignment. They should be practicing a few measures each week with correct notes and rhythms with their best sound.
• Concert Ab and Concert D scales were assigned this week.
  • Next Week: Chromatic and Concert G
• Fun Songs: We will finish Centuries and begin Shut up and Dance next week.
• Brass students are expected to have BERPS for class everyday.  See Mr. Kennedy or Mr. Timpani if you need assistance.
• Woodwind students are expected to have four reeds with no chips, cracks or lipstick.
