Symphonic Band #4

  • Practice Card is due on Monday, September 21st
  • Sectionals are every week.  Please remind your child to be in the band hall by 7:20 or 3:40pm.
  • We have a pep-rally on Monday, September 21st — Wear your Band T-Shirt
  • First Football game — Tuesday, September 29th.  Details coming.
  • 8th grade only to CHS football game — Friday, October 9th.  Details coming.
  • Second Football game — Tuesday, October 13th. Details coming.
  • Fall Concert — Friday, October 23rd.
  • Reed students are expected to have four reeds with no chips, cracks or lipstick
  • Students should be very busy on their instrument playing slowly measure by measure.  Students are expected to work on their Lyrical and Technical Exercises slowly.  You should here the same measures repeated many times.  This is the best technique to lead to content mastery.
