Beginner Clarinet, Flute, and Saxophone — Week 6

  • Practice Cards are due on Monday, October 5th.
  • Students are expected to practice their full amount.  (2.5 hours per week for a 90%)
  • Students are expected to practice on both their full instrument for only 20 – 30 minutes at a time.  Lessons count as practice time.
  • Students are expected to master the following lines in their Essential Elements Book:  1 – 18.  Students should make a good sound as they play these lines using a metronome at quarter note = 84.
  • The Fundraising form was due today by 4:00pm.  You may e-mail us a copy over the weekend if your child forgot to turn it in. Click here for the link.
  • We are learning our note names and recognizing symbols — use Musicracer.com to practice.  It counts as 5 minutes of practice time.
