Scale Olympics are underway and the beads and stickers are flying. Students should be reviewing all scales and working towards mastery of their new C & D scales. Have your child demonstrate how we pass off a scale for Scale Olympics.

• Daily Drills #3 – one or two positions/valves on slur #3
• Additional range chromatic scale
• Concert Ab, F, G, Bb, C. and D (D is new and should be practiced in slow half notes.)

• New Rhythm – syncopations
• New Melodies on syncopations: Elmo’s World, Cookie Monster Song, & Little Einsteins.
