6th Grade

We’ve made it! Spring Break is here. The students have received their first full band pieces of music. When we return from the break we will begin working through those as well as begin jazz band music. Scale Olympics will continue as well. And of course, many more melodies and techniques to still master before the end of the year. Enjoy your break.

• Practice Card is due on Monday, March 14^th
• Solo & Ensemble Contest, April 30^th
• Peak Music Festival, May 7^th
• Students should be working on a solo of their choice from the solo packet or a solo that has been assigned by their private instructor.
• New concert music will be assigned after the break for Honor and Concert band
