6th Grade

YAY BASS CLEF !

You should have numbered ALL of your band music measures, get it done!!

To practice:

• Snare drum
  • Imperium – counting and playing with DYNAMICS!!
  • New rudiments – 7-stroke, 17-stroke, double paradiddle, triple paradiddle
  • New exercise – grid diddles, double bounce
• Marimba
  • Imperium bell part!
  • DOUBLESTOPS
  • Speed reading bass clef

7th and 8th Grade

• Symphonic band sectionals are Wednesday at 7:20AM
• All students should have a Solo and an Ensemble part
• Symphonic band clinic Monday 3/21 with John Mackey from 4 – 5:30PM
• Solo & Ensemble Contest @ Hunt MS – Saturday, April 30^th
• Peak Music Festival @ UNT – Saturday, May 7^th
• Spring Concert – May 26^th
