It’s hard to believe that we are almost finished with the school year. And the end seems to be approaching quicker by the day. There is still plenty to work towards; Spring Concert, Jazz Concert, summer lessons, summer camps, and of course the beginning of next year.

We hope to see everyone next Thursday at Centennial for our final concert. We will be celebrating the students’ achievements and saying good luck to our 8th graders as they move on to the next level.

Announcements

• Practice Card is due on Monday, May 23^rd.
• Dress nice for the concert Thursday.
• Spring Concert, Thursday May 26th at Centennial HS (Not Clark).Students are expected to arrive at 6:30pm.  The Concert Band will meet on stage, with the Honor Band in the Choir Room, and the Symphonic Band in the Band Hall.  Students are expected to dress up!  This is an awards concert and we want to look our best.  No jeans, or athletic shoes, please.  Attendance is mandatory.  Selected students from each band will be recognized for their achievements! • School instrument check-in will be on Tuesday, May31^st. All school instruments, including home practice instruments, will need to be back in the band hall. Summer maintenance will be on Wednesday, June 2^nd, and Thursday, June 3^rd. A towel, slide grease, and valve oil will need to be at school for both days of cleaning & maintenance.

• Summer Lessons begin Tuesday, June 21st from 9:00am – 5:00pm.  Summer Jazz Band is open to all students as well. School-owned instruments will be available for check-out.  Contact your lessons’ teacher to schedule a time.
