As you get this email, we are beginning our Fall Concert. Here is our Online Program. We hope you enjoy tonight’s Concert.
The kids made major improvement this week especially. I was very proud of their focus during an extra long clinic rehearsal Wednesday after school. Any time 12 year olds can be still and quiet for 2 hours, that is something special.
Homework:
- Students should be working on all four etudes of your region audition music. Lines have been assigned with due dates. Please see your child’s music for dates.
- Practice cards are due on Monday, October 24th.
- Sight reading, rhythms, and scales.
Upcoming Events:
- Saturday, October 22nd — 10:00am — Noon; All-Region Clinic (Trombones on Thursday evening.)
- Sunday, October 23rd. Tubas and Euphonium students are encouraged to attend a special guest at UNT.
- Thursday, October 27th — Pep-Rally – Wear your band t-shirt
- Saturday, November 12th — All-Region Auditions, phase 1
