We are so excited about our upcoming Spring Concert

on Tuesday, May 30th from 7:00pm – 8:30pm

at Stonebriar Community Church (NOT CLARK)
- All students are expected to attend!
- This has been on the calendar for months and we have sent out weekly reminders for months… Besides, we have cake!!
We are receiving the prestigious Sudler Silver Cup from the John Philip Sousa Foundation. The Clark band is the only program in the United States to receive this amazing honor!
Please invite your family, friends, and neighbors to this event!
Parking:
Park on the west side of the building

the Parkwood entrance and the toll way
Please do not park on the east side

the Legendary Drive facing Hunt MS
Students are expected to arrive at Stonebriar at 6:30pm.

Students will have a designated location to uncase their instrument

Students will have a designated place to sit while waiting to perform
-
Students are expected to dress-up. This is red carpet affair!

We will actually have a red carpet!! No jeans, t-shirts, or athletic shoes

Students need to bring:

their instrument to and from the concert

their music to and from the concert

their home music stand if they have one

The order of the program is as follows:
7:00pm Introduction by Mr. Hazzard – Assistant Director of Fine Arts
7:05pm Beginner Band performs
7:15pm Concert Band performs
7:25pm Honor Band performs
7:40pm Symphonic Band performs
7:55pm Presentation of the Sudler Silver Cup
8:10pm Combined performance with the Symphonic Band and the Clark alumni band
8:25pm Combined performance with all the Clark Bands including the Clark alumni band
8:35pm – 9:30pm Optional Reception — We have cake!!

These times are approximate depending on transitioning between groups.

We will have an optional reception after the concert has finished until 9:30pm.

All students are expected to stay for the entire event
-
ALL 540+ musicians are playing together at the end of the concert.
