Beginning Clarinet, Flute and Saxophone — Week #1
- We had a great first week. Forms turned in, instruments checked out, supplies explored, and first sounds were made.
- You will be receiving this newsletter each Friday to let you know what we’ve been working on and what will be expected for the next week.
- Students are expected to bring their instruments home everyday.
- If you still need to rent an instrument, or purchase supplies click here.
Announcements:
- The practice card is due in class with a parent signature on Monday, August 28th.
- Students are expected to practice half of their normal time.
- Return Pages were due this Friday, August 25th. You can still get credit for turning them in on Monday. This form is essential for travel with the band.
- Please sign up for Remind. You can learn how at this link.
- The kickoff for the band fundraiser is on Monday, look for an envelope to come home that describes it. We will be doing a color run!
- School Dance sponsored by the band is Friday, September 8th.
- Tickets are $5.00!
- Band fees are due. $30 to Clark Band or pay online here.
