Parents
With two weeks of the school year now officially through, I can tell you that I have been having a blast getting to know your students. We have been making the first sounds on our instruments (which I am sure you are VERY aware of!) and have started to learn how to read the notes on the staff. Please encourage your child to practice consistently to reinforce our motto of practice makes permanent. The excellent concepts learned in class when practiced well will lead to excellence!
- Practice cards are due in class with a parent signature on Tuesday, September 5th. Students should be practicing 15-20 minutes each night: 5 on the mouthpiece, 5-10 on sound, 5 on alphabet
- Color Run Forms (yellow sheet in the collection envelop) are due Tuesday, September 5th. This is for a grade regardless of the response.
- School Dance sponsored by the band is Friday, September 8th. Tickets are on sale during lunch for $5.
- You can sign-up a friend for the Color Run, pre-order your I-N-Out meal, and donate for the Color Run online here.

- Band fees are due. $30 to Clark Band or pay online here.
