An Evening of Jazz in the Park

Clark Jazz Band Symbol

The jazz bands of Clark will join forces with the jazz bands of Wester Middle School and Centennial High School for an evening of jazz at Frisco Commons Park on May 26th.  The evening will begin with the Clark Beginner Jazz Band at 6:00 PM and the Clark Cougar Jazz Band (7th and 8th grade) will perform around 6:40 PM.  The full schedule can be found at the bottom of this letter.   Students are encouraged to stay and support Wester and Centennial jazz bands!  Dress for the evening is blue jeans or shorts and your band t-shirt. The concert will be held at the main pavilion at Frisco Commons.  Please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to recline in and enjoy the show.

The Centennial Band Boosters have graciously provided dinner for the evening for all who attend.  We will be cooking hamburgers and hot dogs and there will be food for the whole family, so be sure to bring your appetite!  Marble Slab Creamery will also be on hand with their delicious ice cream for a small fee.  A portion of the profits from the ice cream will benefit the Centennial Band.
