Week #1
- We are learning the names of the parts of the instrument
- We are working on putting our instrument together
- We are learning our note names and recognizing symbols

- Handbook form was due by Friday, August 28th
- Practice Card is due on Monday, August 31st
- Students are expected to practice on only their mouthpiece/headjoint for 10 minutes at a time this weekend unless they were taking lessons this summer.
- Private Lessons are strongly encouraged. Sign-up now before all of the available times are filled.
- The Annual Fall Dance is next Friday, September 4th from 4:00pm – 5:30pm. Tickets are $5.
- Volunteers for the dance must have an approved background check and must come to school before Friday to scan their driver’s license.
