Beginner Clarinet, Flute and Saxophone

  • The fundraiser has ended.  Please turn in your order forms and sample coupon books.  Thank you for all of your help with this process.
  • Practice Card is due on Tuesday, October 20th.
  • Students are expected to practice on their full instrument for 20 – 30 minutes at a time this weekend.
  • All students should be using their Essential Elements:
    1. Clarinets 2nd Period  — Lines 1 – 39; p.46 Right Hand work from easy C to Low E; and Low E to easy C
    2. Clarinets 7th Period  — Lines 1 – 31; p.46 Right Hand work to from easy C to Low E
    3. Saxophones — Lines 1 – 42; p. 46 Low D to High G; and High G to Low D
    4. Flutes — Lines 1 – 33; p.46 Low G – Middle G; and Middle G to Low G
  • Students are expected to have four reeds with no chips, cracks or lipstick (except for Flutes).
  • Our first concert is next Thursday, October 23rd.  Students meet at 5:30pm in the band hall.  The concert begins at 6:00pm.  Students are expected to wear their band t-shirt and nice pants or shorts.  No jeans, please.  Please bring your recording device.  You will have a front row seat to view your child.
