Mr. Timpani’s Classes – Week #3

Homework:

• Students are expected to bring their instruments home everyday.
• Students should be practicing on their mouthpiece, then the whole instrument.
• You should be hearing long notes mostly and then some repeated notes (4 at a time)
• Review Fingering patterns on their instrument
• Review 5 minute Theory 1-5
• Students should be practicing each day for about 20 minutes at a time.

Students should continue to practice the music alphabet . We have a few online resources to help you practice:

Announcements:

• Practice cards are due on Tuesday, September 4th
• The Return Page was due on Friday, August 24^th.
  • You can still get credit for turning them in on Tuesday.
    • This form is essential for travel with the band.
• Please sign up for Remind. You can learn how at this link.
• Band fees are due. $30 to Clark Band or pay online here.
• Please consider signing up your child for private lessons with one of our teachers.
