6th Grade
- The Fundraiser continues! Please help out the band!! The next turn in is on Monday!
- We have a Pep-Rally this Thursday! Students are expected to wear their band t-shirt.
- Practice cards due on Monday
- Make sure you are practicing with your CD, quizzes begin next week
7th and 8th Grade
- Wednesday, October 21st – Symphonic Band only clinic 3:40 – 6:30pm with retired Frisco ISD Fine Arts Director, Dr. Trent
- We will provide water and a snack. You are welcome to bring or send additional food for your child. We are feeding them from 3:40 – 4:00pm.
- Volleyball girls will have VB practice until 5:00pm and then come to band.
- Cheerleaders will go to Cheer practice at 5:00pm.

- Honor Band Fall Clinic — Wednesday, October 21st. We will have a snack after school. Clinic begins at 4 and will conclude at 6pm.
- Concert Band Fall Clinic — Tuesday 4-6pm
- Thursday, October 22nd — Pep-Rally during school – All eligible students are required to wear their band t-shirt
- Friday, October 23rd – Fall Concert – All students regardless of eligibility are required to attend. Failure to attend may result in removal from the program.
- Students receive three major grades for the concert. Click here for details.
- Students are expected to wear their band polo with black dress pants, black dress shoes, black dress socks and a black dress belt.
- Boys are expected to have a white V-neck undershirt.
- Girls may wear a black skirt or dress that will cover their knees when they sit down.
- Girls may wear black dress heels or flats, open or close-toed shoes
- 7th Graders will receive their polo on Friday. It will run long. You may need to have it hemmed.
- Saturday, October 24th –10:00am – Noon; All-Region Practice
- Attendance is mandatory. This has been on the calendar since August. Please let me know if you have a conflict.

All 7th graders should have received a polo today as well as 8th graders that ordered another polo. This is by far our busiest week of the semester. Thanks for working with us.
