As you sit and listen to your child make the joyous noise on their instruments at home, you should start to hear clearer tones and more consistent notes. I promise, it will all come together into recognizable songs really soon! In all of our classes, we are focusing on good posture, good hand position, good breath and how all of those equal up to a good sound. As a wise man once said, to be at something, you have to do 3 things well: fundamentals, fundamentals and fundamentals.

- The color run is next Friday!! Please help us raise money for the program. Our goal is $15,000 in donations. If your child has filled out their form, then please come see us for another form. You can sign-up a friend who goes to Clark for the Color Run, pre-order your Mooyah meal (deadline is today), and donate for the Color Run online here.

- Practice cards are due in class with a parent signature on Monday, September 19th. Students should be practicing 20 minutes each night: Check your child’s band binder for assignments.
