Symphonic Band UIL Contest

Our UIL contest has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 5th, at Wakeland High School.  Please bring your uniform to school on a hanger.  Make sure that it is ironed.  We will meet 8th period in the band hall.  Please be in your seat with your instrument in its case at the beginning of 8th period.  We officially warm-up at 3:40pm, perform on stage at 4:10pm, and sight-read at 4:40pm.  Parents are encouraged to attend!  This is the event that we have been preparing for all year.  We would love to have you in the audience cheering us on.  Please stay for sight-reading.

Students, it is very important that we look our absolute best for this event. Please have your uniform clean and ironed before the day of the contest. You must bring your entire uniform with you to school that day including your band polo, black dress pants, black dress socks, black dress shoes, black dress belt and a v-neck undershirt.

Thank you for taking the necessary steps to make this event a success. The students have been working very hard on their music to prepare for this contest. We will be missing 8th period so students will be responsible for making up any missed work.  Please be aware that we will are going to Main Event from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and will return to Clark by 7:45pm.  Students need to bring $21 for the event.  On Wednesday, April 6th you are responsible for turning in any work that you missed.
