Symphonic Week #9

  • Practice Card is due on Tuesday, October 27th.

  • Saturday, from 10:00am to Noon is our Pre-Region practice with professionals musicians that we have hired to assist your children in preparation for the All-Region Audition (11/13 or 11/15)
  • We are playing for the 8th grade football team on Tuesday, October 28th at 5:30pm at Memorial Stadium.  We are staying after school and feeding students pizza and soda.  If you wish to bring your child additional food after school, that is fine.  However, students will not be able to eat or drink in the stands.  We will provide water at the game.  We expect to return to Clark by 9:30pm.  Please got to Clarkband.org for details.
  • Our fall concert is Wednesday, October 29th at 6:00pm.  Students are expected to wear their Band Polo, an undershirt (white V-Neck for boys), black dress pants, black dress socks, black dress shoes, and a black dress belt.  Please let me know if you have any financial concerns, we can help.  Girls may wear a black skirt if they prefer (cover the knees please), and black heels (closed-toe).  NO Sandals please.
  • Students are expected to work on their All-Region Lyrical and Technical Exercises.  Most of their major test grades will be from these two exercises, plus their scales.  All-Region auditions are on Thursday, November 13th and Saturday, November 15th.  Please go to the website for details.
